How it works.
What is Gachanaut?
Gachanaut is a front door to graded-card gacha on Solana. It has three parts: a free practice machine that rolls with real odds, a live feed of real pulls, and an EV board that ranks every machine by what a pull is worth on average.
Real pulls happen on Collector Crypt, which holds the graded cards in insured vaults and mints each one as an NFT you own. Gachanaut is an independent project: it reads Collector Crypt's public data, never holds your funds, and never asks you to sign anything.
The free machine
Pick any live machine, then hit Pull or drag the crank a full turn. Each pull:
- charges the machine's price from your play bankroll (pretend dollars, saved in your browser);
- rolls a tier — common, uncommon, rare or epic — using that machine's exact published odds, from your browser's cryptographic random source;
- rolls a value inside that tier's published range;
- hands you a random Naut of that tier, with a 64-to-1 shot at a shiny.
Collector Crypt publishes each tier's range but not how values spread inside it, and most pulls land near the bottom. So the sim skews values toward the low end with a single exponent per machine, solved so the sim's average pull matches the machine's reported EV.
After a pull you can keep the Naut in your Dex or sell it back for the machine's instant-buyback rate, which goes back into your bankroll. Run dry and the crew will refill you — the refill counter is there to keep you honest.
Live rips
The live feed reads Collector Crypt's public gacha stats every few seconds and looks up each pulled card's name, grade and scan. Every row shows:
- Cost → value: what the pull cost and the card's insured value. Insured value is an appraisal, not a sale price.
- Sold back: the puller took instant buyback in USDC instead of keeping the card.
- VRF ✓: the roll carries a verifiable random function proof, so the outcome can be checked rather than taken on trust.
- Tap a card scan to open its transfer on Solscan.
How the EV board is calculated
- Reported EV = Collector Crypt's expected insured value of one pull ÷ price.
- If sold back = reported EV × instant-buyback rate ÷ price. This is closer to the USDC you'd end up with if you sold every pull straight back.
- Stock = cards left in each tier. Machines can pause when a top tier runs low.
Averages describe thousands of pulls. Any single pull is far more likely to land below the average than above it.
Ripping for real
- Get a Solana wallet such as Phantom, Solflare or Backpack, with USDC for the pack and a little SOL for fees.
- Open a machine from the EV board with Rip real ↗, or go to Collector Crypt's gacha directly.
- Pull. Your card arrives in your wallet as an NFT backed by a real graded card in the vault.
- Keep it, list it on the marketplace, take instant buyback, or redeem the physical slab.
$NAUT holder ranks
Connect a wallet and Gachanaut reads your $NAUT balance straight from chain. It is read-only: there is nothing to approve or sign. Ranks change the free machine only:
- Cadet (any balance): 1× shiny odds, $1,000 play bankroll.
- Pilot (100,000+): 2× shiny odds, $2,500 play bankroll.
- Commander (1,000,000+): 3× shiny odds, $5,000 play bankroll.
- Admiral (10,000,000+): 5× shiny odds, $10,000 play bankroll.
Ranks don't change odds, prices or payouts on Collector Crypt. Nothing on this site can.
Stay safe
- Never share your seed phrase or private key with anyone, including anyone claiming to be from Gachanaut.
- Gachanaut never asks you to sign a transaction. If something here asks, close the tab.
- Gacha is gambling with extra steps. Set a budget, and treat every real pull as money spent, not invested.
